Magic with Black Magic
Black Magic was a five piece jazz group comprised of members Ted Warawa, Bob Firnesz, Brian Herman, Matt Milleker and myself. We were inspired by a desire to take classic songs that did not originate in the jazz genre and give them new life creating jazz renditions of them. We also liked creating non-standard interpretations of the beloved jazz standards. It was a pleasure to work with these musicians during our time together in 2013 and 2014.
