As part of my Awards Reception speech, I made a point of thanking my husband and soulmate Stan, for always supporting me and being by my side; my son, Tanner, for always making me smile; and my colleague and friend Brittany, who nominated me for this cherished award. Can you feel the love?
It was particularly special to be in the company of these six women who founded the Regina Chapter of Grandmothers for Grandmothers. They received the Woman of Distinction Award in Teamwork. The Award recognizes women whose work together has resulted in outstanding and valuable contributions to the advancement and well being of their community or communities. So very true.
